This course provides training in turbine fuel, lubrication, and fire protection systems. Students study hydromechanical and digital fuel controls, pumps, filters, valves, and nozzles. Instruction covers lubrication system operation, chip detection, oil filtration, and cooling processes. Fire detection topics include thermal switch, thermocouple, and continuous-loop systems. Hands-on tasks include fuel flow testing, lubrication diagnostics, fire detection inspection, and servicing extinguishing bottles. Emphasis is placed on safety, contamination control, and FAA-compliant maintenance practices.
