AMT236: Aircraft Flight Control, Fuel, and Lube Systems

This course covers reciprocating engine fuel and lubrication systems and primary flight control systems. Students compare carburetion and fuel injection, troubleshoot pumps, valves, and fuel controls, and perform pressure and flow checks. Training includes safe fuel-handling practices, servicing lubrication components, and diagnosing oil-system abnormalities. Students will inspect aircraft rigging and verify flight control systems using FAA-approved data and standard maintenance procedures. This course completes FAA Airframe topics and begins teaching Powerplant requirements.
