This course provides an introduction to aircraft landing gear, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Students study fixed and retractable landing gear components, shock struts, wheels, brakes, steering, and anti-skid systems. Instruction includes hydraulic servicing, filtration, accumulator operation, and pneumatic system functions. Laboratory work covers jacking, tire and brake servicing, leak detection, and system testing using approved procedures. Emphasis is placed on technical accuracy, safe practices, and compliance with FAA maintenance requirements.
