This course introduces FAA regulations, technical publications, and documentation requirements for aviation maintenance technicians. Students learn to interpret 14 CFR Parts 1, 43, and 65, complete maintenance entries, research Airworthiness Directives, and use manufacturer manuals and technical data. Applied activities include logbook documentation, inspection reporting, and human factors considerations in regulatory compliance. The course provides the regulatory foundation necessary for all subsequent AMT coursework.
