AMT116: Aircraft Servicing, Weight & Balance, and Ground Operations

This course introduces aircraft servicing procedures, ground operations, and weight and balance fundamentals. Students learn safe towing, fueling, marshalling, jacking, deicing, and fluid servicing. Instruction includes operational inspections, documentation procedures, basic nondestructive testing, and applied aviation physics. The course builds the operational and mathematical foundation required for subsequent Airframe and Powerplant coursework and supports safe maintenance practices.

*MAT025 (Pre-Algebra) or ALEKS test score of 14 or higher
