Students continue their mastery of diagnostic and procedural coding through complex case studies and use of authentic medical records. Students are introduced to International Classification of Diseases ICD-10 CM and other diagnosis coding systems such as DSM-V. Code auditing for regulatory compliance is emphasized. Students take the AAPC Certified Professional Coder (CPC) Exam at the end of the course.
