Students prepare for immediate and long-term success as administrative assistants in physical and remote offices. Emphasis is placed on developing interpersonal, time management and organizational skills, critical thinking, improving communication and technological competence, and developing troubleshooting skills. Students learn to schedule appointments, handle mail, use professional telephone etiquette, prepare correspondence, set up meetings, and make travel arrangements. This course prepares students for the Microsoft Office Outlook certification exam.
