BUS102: Business Communication

This course is an introduction to the communication skills required in business and industry.  Students learn how to produce, revise, and deliver business reports, professional communications, computer-supported presentations, and oral presentations. The importance of accurate communications and the development of language art skills are emphasized. Business communications and formats, including online communication, are studied.  Students enrolled in this course are expected to enter with the ability to type 30 wpm accurately.

Prerequisites

ENL108: Critical Reading & Thinking or ESL201: English as a Second Language III: Advanced or satisfactory basic skills assessment score.
