SOC200: Social Justice Internship

This course offers students practical experience working with social and economic justice organizations. Through supervised fieldwork, students will deepen their understanding of justice-related issues, advocacy efforts, policy frameworks, and community impact. The course emphasizes developing professional skills, engaging with real-world community challenges, and critically reflecting on those experiences. While Social and Economic Justice Institute Fellows are encouraged to participate, the course is open to all students pursuing internships with a focus on social justice. The required time commitment is determined by the number of credits, with 50 hours of fieldwork per credit.
