In 2025, the Massachusetts Legislature ended funding for the STEM Starter Academy that the 15 system community colleges used to support and promote STEM programs at the respective institutions. With some small funding from the Executive Office of Education to support the Cape Cod Regional STEM Network and the STEM Week, and funding from the College, the STEM Network is now operating as a unit within the Office of the STEM Dean to support STEM students and to promote STEM activities in the community.
