Students are named to the Dean’s List for demonstrating superior academic performance in the Fall and Spring semesters.
To be considered for the Dean’s List, students must first earn a career total of 12 credit hours from 4Cs; transfer credits are not considered part of the total. All courses must be completed by the time final grades are posted per the academic calendar: grades of W, Z/ABS, or I/INC exclude a student from the Dean’s List for that semester.
In addition, students must meet all the following criteria:
- Be in good academic standing (Cumulative GPA 2.00 or higher)
- Earn a minimum of six credit hours during the semester (developmental coursework does not count toward the six-credit requirement)
- Earn a semester GPA average of 3.20 or above.
- Earn a C or above in all courses for the semester.
The Dean's List designation is indicated on the student's transcript. Students may access their Dean's List certificate via Campus Web. Dean’s List determinations for prior semesters are governed by the policy in effect during the applicable academic year.
