ENR127: Technical and Operations Management

This course equips students with the knowledge and skills to lead and manage technical operations in manufacturing and service environments. Emphasizing both technical leadership and operational excellence, students will explore how to influence without authority, communicate technical insights effectively, and apply systems thinking to solve complex operational problems. Through real-world scenarios, students will learn to optimize processes, manage capacity, improve quality, and lead cross-functional teams. The course integrates principles of negotiation, feedback, and continuous improvement to prepare students for dynamic roles in technical and operational leadership.
